Uptown Set to Welcome Innovative Tempo by Hilton Hotel in Collaboration with Bourn Companies and Valencia Hotel Group
Bourn Companies, the Tucson real estate developers behind Uptown, announces its collaboration with Valencia Hotel Group, nationally recognized independent luxury hotel management company, to bring the Tempo by Hilton hotel brand to Uptown. As a significant milestone in the redevelopment of the Foothills Mall, Tempo by Hilton Tucson Uptown is set to open its doors in late 2026.
Designed to harmonize with the fast-paced rhythm of modern life, Tempo by Hilton offers an uplifting and energetic experience for guests seeking to maintain their momentum while traveling. The Tucson Uptown location will feature five stories and 144 thoughtfully designed guest rooms.
Each guest room will include a Get Ready Zone, Exclusive Sealy Accelerate mattresses and cooling linens, and a bathroom with an oversized shower, a Bluetooth speaker mirror, and APOTHEKE products. Guests can anticipate tech-enabled "Power Up" and "Power Down" amenities, designed to create personalized morning and nighttime routines. For fitness enthusiasts, 5 Wellness Rooms will offer the convenience of in-room Peloton bikes.
The hotel will also feature open-concept public spaces designed to create an environment that encourages socializing, collaboration, and focused work, inspiring visitors to embrace the present moment and explore new perspectives by "Looking Up." Amenities include:
- A state-of-the-art fitness center equipped with Peloton equipment to provide guests with the tools to maintain their wellness routines
- A signature sparkling and still water hydration station to ensure guests stay refreshed
- 3,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event spaces, including a boardroom and an indoor/outdoor bar experience to accommodate a wide range of gatherings
- Culinary offerings presented by Moonsong Bar + Café to provide guests with diverse food and beverage options, including healthy breakfast choices and spirited (and spirit-free) craft cocktails
- An inviting outdoor pool for guests seeking a moment of relaxation
The hotel's ground floor retailers and outdoor views of Uptown's promenade will seek to deepen guests' experiences and foster connection to the surrounding community. Paying tribute to Tucson's rich cultural heritage, Tempo by Hilton Tucson Uptown will incorporating local art and design elements throughout the property. The hotel will also welcome guests traveling with pets.
Valencia Hotel Group, renowned for its expertise in luxury, service, and curating local experiences, will bring its modern, tech-centric, and lifestyle-focused management approach to the hotel. The interior design will be guided by the award-winning Studio 11 Design, while Mayse & Associates, Inc. will lead the architecture.
To the north of the hotel site, construction is in full swing on Uptown’s 157-unit residential project and a 880-space parking garage.
